Delphi Full day Tour highlights:

Depart at 08:30 from the terminal or a little earlier from your hotel, to Delphi, crossing the historical villages of Levadia and the tragic Tebas. On the slopes of Parnassus mountain, a mythological mountain overlooking the Corinth gulf, there, Apollo constructed a sanctuary, the most important of the history with a trajectory that reaches the 4th century A.C. Apollo choose the priestess via who, God communicated with the mortals. Soon the sanctuary turned into the religious center of the known world and received visits from all over the known world. The point that the Greeks considered the Earth navel was destroyed and the religious center closed by religious fanaticisms.
The sanctuary grew thanks to the offerings of the pilgrims arranging all the necessary facilities including the stadium. The gymnasium had an arena and circular swimming pool. In different parts, the pilgrims constructed the Treasures, special places for the gratefulness offerings to God.
The local museum hosts great artistic treasures, testimonies of a glorious past, between which emphasizes the bronze statue of Charioteer, the one of Antinoos, as well as the Sphinx of Naxos, offering of the inhabitants of the island of Naxos…
